
If you’re like me, you turn up at the course, feeling good and looking forward to the round…. par, par, par, DOUBLE BOGEY! Why, oh why, does this game kick you, just when you think you’ve got some kind of control over it?
Look around you, breathe in, and just be grateful you’re out there playing, look at the ever-changing colours of the leaves on the trees and enjoy yourself.
Have you EVER hit a brilliant shot when you are so pent up with anger and frustration? (and you know that this wonderful game will give you a great shot or putt on the 17th or 18th, which brings us back once more)!

The Mind Zone session on golf psychology is great for learning simple techniques to help with your golf. Imagine if you can overcome your fears of that bad shot or bad hole, and improve your own mental state to ultimately play better golf.
The session will help you to learn how to MAINTAIN your ATTENTION for the whole round, enabling you to have a CALM mind during your rounds of golf. If you can keep your emotions in check, think clearly and make great decisions, then that will only enhance your confidence in your ability to perform well, leading to better scores.

Your brain is your control centre, not your muscles (despite what people often say about ‘muscle memory’). Your swing and stroke come from the instructions that you give your brain – so why not try to improve how you think on the course?
As you know, is not all about the physical swing (for that we’d certainly recommend lessons with your local PGA Pro) but is made up of several factors, one of the main ones being that phenomenal piece of kit you have ‘between your ears’.
